Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Upper KS2, with a focus on English, Maths and/or Humanities.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through individualised teaching and assessment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching across the school.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enhance the student experience.
• Stay up to date with current educational trends and best practices in teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Upper KS2 education.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in English, Maths and/or Humanities.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching English, Maths and/or Humanities.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
• Experience in a school setting with a strong focus on student well-being and development.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
