Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Upper KS2, with a focus on English, Maths and/or Humanities.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualised teaching and assessment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching across the school.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enhance the student experience.
- Stay up to date with current educational trends and best practices in teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Upper KS2 education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in English, Maths and/or Humanities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching English, Maths and/or Humanities.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in a school setting with a strong focus on student well-being and development.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
