Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and engage young children through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that support the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth of students.
  • Collaborate with the Early Years team to maintain consistent standards of care and education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support the child’s development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Early Years education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to child safety and welfare, with a clear understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging early years curriculum.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and play-based learning.
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
