Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a supportive relationship with the student to foster confidence and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers to understand the student's specific learning needs and support their progress.
• Assist in-class learning and social interactions under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Track student progress against IEP targets and provide regular feedback to teachers and support staff.
• Adapt resources and lesson plans to meet the needs of the student.
• Provide personalized support outside the classroom as required.
• Perform break duties and attend staff meetings when needed.
• Support the Oasis department with administrative and cover duties when necessary.
• Follow all school policies and procedures, and remain adaptable to changing requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• At least a High School Diploma.
• Experience working in a school-based environment, ideally on a 1:1 basis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and academic success.

Preferred

• A CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in developing individualized learning plans.
• Familiarity with IEPs and special educational needs support.
