The Opportunity:

As the Head of EYFS, you will play a key role in shaping the educational direction and ensuring academic excellence in the Early Years department. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Early Years department, ensuring alignment with the school’s vision and mission.
• Develop and implement policies that support high academic standards and student well-being.
• Formulate and monitor the achievement of departmental aims and objectives.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to support the delivery of quality education.
• Provide leadership and professional development for teaching and support staff.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the school’s educational strategy.
• Ensure compliance with the UAE National Agenda and curriculum standards.
• Deliver teaching and professional duties as delegated by the Principal.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Fully certified teacher with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability in people development and team management.
• Commitment to the school’s mission and values.

Preferred

• Experience in a senior leadership role within an international school.
• Familiarity with UAE education standards and cultural context.
• Demonstrated success in driving academic excellence and student outcomes.
