Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IGCSE and A Level Business Studies, ensuring high-quality instruction and student engagement.
• Deliver Key Stage 3 Humanities lessons with a focus on developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's academic standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance teaching practices and student achievement.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
• Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Engage with students, parents, and the wider school community to promote a culture of excellence and mutual respect.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Business Studies at IGCSE and A Level.
• Proven track record of student success, including value-added progress and strong exam results.
• Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE subject requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency at a high level.
• Valid ICPC Check/Police Report.
• 3 positive references from previous schools covering the last 5 years of teaching experience.

Preferred

• Experience in delivering lessons to a diverse student population.
• Familiarity with international education standards and best practices.
• Experience with student pastoral care and support.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and take on leadership roles when required.
