Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History across all three key stages (3-5) in line with international curricula.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that promote critical thinking and student achievement.
  • Prepare and assess students according to Cambridge IGCSE, CAIE A-Level, and/or IB Diploma standards.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and leadership skills.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience teaching History across all three key stages (3-5).
  • A recognized teaching qualification, either local or international.
  • Proven ability to motivate and engage students in a classroom setting.
  • Commitment to contributing to the school and Humanities Department through extracurricular involvement.

Preferred

  • Experience with Cambridge IGCSE, CAIE A-Level, or IB Diploma programs.
  • Strong background in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
  • Demonstrated success in student achievement and academic outcomes.
