The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Studies Teacher KS4/5 to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development, while contributing to a school that consistently achieves outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IGCSE and A Level Business Studies, with some KS3 Humanities responsibilities.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that promote critical thinking, independent learning, and student engagement.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a rigorous and innovative curriculum.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that support student achievement and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Support students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for future opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Business Studies at IGCSE or A Level.
• Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE Subject.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Clear ICPC Check/Police Report.
• EU passport holder.

Preferred

• Experience teaching KS3 Humanities.
• Proven track record of value-added student progress and high exam results.
• Experience with international curricula such as IGCSE or A Level.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• Experience with child safeguarding procedures and best practices.
