The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Studies Teacher KS4/5 to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development, while contributing to a school that consistently achieves outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IGCSE and A Level Business Studies, with some KS3 Humanities responsibilities.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote critical thinking, independent learning, and student engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a rigorous and innovative curriculum.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that support student achievement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for future opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Business Studies at IGCSE or A Level.
- Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE Subject.
- Excellent English language proficiency.
- Clear ICPC Check/Police Report.
- EU passport holder.
Preferred
- Experience teaching KS3 Humanities.
- Proven track record of value-added student progress and high exam results.
- Experience with international curricula such as IGCSE or A Level.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Experience with child safeguarding procedures and best practices.
