The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Economics and Business Teacher to deliver high-quality education and support student success. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ futures through innovative teaching and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality A-Level Economics and Level 3 Business lessons using innovative and effective teaching strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a teaching programme that prioritises student progression and success.
  • Assess student progress regularly and prepare timely reports to support learning outcomes.
  • Support extra-mural activities and industry outreach to enhance student development and career readiness.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Humanities and Business team to maintain a cohesive and impactful teaching approach.
  • Promote the school’s reputation and participate in appraisal and performance management processes.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and implement best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the overall mission of the school by fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in A-Level Economics and Level 3 Business.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and support student learning.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies.
  • Commitment to student progression and success.

Preferred

  • Experience with T Level Marketing and BTEC Business qualifications.
  • Experience in managing and leading a teaching team or department.
  • Knowledge of industry outreach and extra-curricular activities.
  • Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
