Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning.
  • Work closely with parents and other staff members to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science and incorporate new technologies into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Preferred

  • Experience with NQT or early career teacher support.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles.
  • Involvement in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
  • Experience with sixth form teaching or working in a partnership setting.
