Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons to students across years 5 to 8.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
• Support students in developing practical skills and knowledge in design and technology.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure they meet learning objectives.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student work and progress.
• Ensure a safe and well-organized learning environment at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Design Technology.
• Strong subject knowledge in design and technology.
• Experience teaching students aged 9-13.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to the school’s values of inspiring, challenging, and growing students.

Preferred

• Experience with cross-curricular teaching.
• Experience with teaching outside of Design Technology.
