Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils through academic intervention and mentoring to improve learning outcomes
  • Deliver targeted support to help students achieve their academic goals
  • Promote high levels of engagement and achievement across the school
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Use IT systems to track progress and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure safeguarding and support for pupils with additional needs
  • Motivate students and promote high expectations in learning
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching and support teams to deliver a cohesive learning experience

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in academic mentoring or supporting students through intervention programs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in using IT systems for record-keeping and progress tracking
  • Understanding of safeguarding and supporting students with additional needs
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of curriculum requirements and assessment practices
  • Experience with professional development and training
