The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our team and teach Spanish up to A-Level and French up to GCSE. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ learning and development within a school that values innovation, collaboration, and high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that foster a love for modern foreign languages and promote high standards of attainment
  • Teach Spanish up to A-Level and French up to GCSE, ensuring students achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation in line with national standards
  • Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programmes
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents
  • Act as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and student welfare

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related discipline
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the subject and curriculum requirements
  • Excellent organisational and classroom management skills

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at both GCSE and A-Level
  • Experience with curriculum development and resource creation
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
