The Opportunity:

As an Academic Support Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students across all grade levels, helping them achieve academic success through personalized instruction and innovative teaching methods. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students across K–12 in a variety of academic subjects.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to student needs.
  • Employ modern teaching techniques and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Support students in improving mathematical knowledge and English language skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Rosenberg International Curriculum.
  • Participate actively in the school’s Talent & Enrichment Programme.
  • Lead and manage small group and 1:1 learning sessions effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Appropriate degree with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
  • Strong mathematical knowledge and ability to support students in maths programmes.
  • Confidence in developing students’ written English and vocabulary skills.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in an international setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with EAL (English as an Additional Language) support.
  • Familiarity with mixed learning methods and student diversity.
  • Willingness to contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and work independently.
