The Opportunity:
A German Teacher is sought to join a successful and growing Modern Languages Department. This role involves teaching German to students across all levels, from primary to high school, and contributing to the development of the Rosenberg International Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach German to students from primary through to high school, using modern and innovative teaching techniques.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the school’s international curriculum and exam boards.
- Implement and support the Rosenberg International Curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Contribute actively to the school’s Talent & Enrichment Programme, offering co-curricular and enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and support student development.
- Manage and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students at varying levels of ability.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the ongoing success of the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally in international settings.
- Proven ability to teach German at first-language level to international students.
- Familiarity with at least one of the IB, UK, or US educational systems.
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching students across multiple grade levels.
- Ability to teach additional languages.
- Experience in developing and implementing international curricula.
- Involvement in co-curricular and enrichment activities.
