The Opportunity:

As an Art Teacher - Visual Arts, you will play a key role in shaping the creative and academic development of intellectually ambitious students. You will teach across a variety of visual arts disciplines and contribute to the school’s innovative curriculum and enrichment programmes, preparing students for international exhibitions and competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Visual Arts across a range of disciplines, including drawing, painting, photography, graphic design and architecture.
  • Support and coordinate within the Art Department, contributing to the development of the Rosenberg International Curriculum®.
  • Deliver project-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences that engage and challenge students.
  • Prepare students for external examinations and international competitions with a focus on academic excellence.
  • Utilise digital creative tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud to enhance teaching and student learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary and innovative learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the school’s Talent & Enrichment Programme and wider academic life.
  • Mentor and guide students in developing their artistic and academic portfolios.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in secondary or international school contexts.
  • Ability to teach across International GCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma and AP/US High School Diploma programmes.
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding results in external examinations.
  • Commitment to the values and ethos of the school.

Preferred

  • Experience in preparing students for exhibitions, portfolios or international competitions.
  • Strong proficiency in digital creative tools and workflows.
  • Experience teaching students across a range of age groups and abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership in educational initiatives and collaborative teamwork.
