The Opportunity:
As an Accounting and Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum, shaping the academic and personal growth of students from KS 4 to 5. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver challenging, inspiring lessons in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum (UK National Curriculum).
- Support and assess student progress using innovative teaching strategies and regular assessments.
- Foster a positive learning environment where students feel safe to explore and reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
- Contribute to co-curricular programmes, including academic competitions, creative clubs, and sports.
- Engage with the school community by building strong partnerships with students and parents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Expertise in Business Studies, Accounting and/or Economics, with experience in KS 4 to 5
- At least 3 years’ experience in a UK or British-curriculum school
- A record of student success in international education
- A passion for inquiry-based, student-centred learning
Preferred
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies
- A commitment to holistic education, fostering creativity, confidence, and responsibility
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international school setting
