The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Admin Support Assistant - SEN & Inclusion to join our dedicated team and contribute to the success of students with special educational needs. This role is integral to supporting inclusive practices and ensuring that all students receive the care and attention they need to flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the SEN & Inclusion team in managing administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between staff, students, and parents regarding SEN-related matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual support plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to student needs and interventions.
  • Provide administrative support during meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to inclusion and support.
  • Assist in the organisation of resources and training for staff working with students with special needs.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive policies and practices across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to inclusion and supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using office software and school management systems.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in SEN or inclusion support roles.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures related to special needs.
  • Experience with student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
