The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Student Services Officer to provide essential administrative support across a range of student-facing responsibilities. This role plays a key part in maintaining student records, managing trips, and supporting attendance monitoring. The successful candidate will also contribute to creating a welcoming environment at the school reception.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate student records
  • Support the administration of school trips and events
  • Monitor and report on student attendance
  • Provide a welcoming and professional service at the school reception
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Assist with the coordination of student-related documentation
  • Support the school’s commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed to deadlines

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Proficiency in using office software and record-keeping systems

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of school policies and procedures
  • Experience with attendance monitoring systems
  • Flexibility to work term time plus one week
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am – 3.45pm
