The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Student Services Officer to provide essential administrative support across a range of student-facing responsibilities. This role plays a key part in maintaining student records, managing trips, and supporting attendance monitoring. The successful candidate will also contribute to creating a welcoming environment at the school reception.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate student records
- Support the administration of school trips and events
- Monitor and report on student attendance
- Provide a welcoming and professional service at the school reception
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Assist with the coordination of student-related documentation
- Support the school’s commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed to deadlines
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Proficiency in using office software and record-keeping systems
Preferred
- Experience in an educational setting
- Knowledge of school policies and procedures
- Experience with attendance monitoring systems
- Flexibility to work term time plus one week
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am – 3.45pm
