The Opportunity:

As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support across the school. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of student and college services, while maintaining a high standard of communication and support for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and administrative support in line with service outlines
  • Ensure student and college services meet the needs of all users and maintain quality standards
  • Promote and support the provision of student and college services across the school
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of curriculum, financial support, DBS checks, and learner eligibility
  • Ensure the switchboard is manned at all times and maintain an outstanding level of service
  • Monitor and complete administrative requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with administration duties for Community Learning provision, including quality and compliance
  • Continuously develop and improve personal professional knowledge and skills

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum of level three qualification
  • Level two English and maths qualifications
  • Strong customer service and administration experience
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of the school’s structure, curriculum, and administrative processes
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar educational or administrative role
  • Knowledge of learner support systems and processes
  • Experience with quality assurance and compliance procedures
  • Experience in community learning or adult education settings
