The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Administrator to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting the school's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reception duties to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for all stakeholders.
- Handle a diverse range of communications with tact, professionalism, and a personal touch.
- Manage general administrative tasks, including word processing, data entry, and report creation using the school's MIS.
- Organise and coordinate parent evenings, option evenings, and other key school events.
- Liaise with external agencies and internal teams to arrange appointments and manage event logistics.
- Process and distribute all mail and correspondence efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and tasks.
- Support the school library, first aid room, and reprographics as needed.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and ensure accurate documentation of all proceedings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in a school or administrative setting.
- Proficiency in using school management systems and office software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional and inclusive working environment.
Preferred
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Knowledge of teaching and learning processes in a school setting.
- Experience in using MIS and other data management systems.
