As an After-School Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing safe, engaging, and enriching care for children during the after-school hours. This is a part-time, term-time only position that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Ensure the well-being, safety, and positive development of all children.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive play experiences and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and communicate with parents when necessary.
- Support the delivery of a diverse range of co-curricular activities.
- Uphold the school’s values and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and structured after-school hub.
- Promote a positive and inclusive culture for all children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in child care or education.
- Experience working with infants or juniors in a teaching or coaching role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the safety and well-being of children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage a busy environment.
Preferred
- Experience in specialist areas such as dance, languages, Forest School, yoga, or tennis.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for delivering enriching activities.
- Previous experience in an after-school setting or similar environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pro-rated salary of £3,704.20 per annum.
- Flexible, term-time only working hours.
