Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Faculty of Mathematics and Computing, ensuring high academic standards and student achievement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning across Years 7–13.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive academic development and innovation.
  • Support the professional growth of staff through mentoring and training.
  • Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school, promoting a well-rounded education.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and performance.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Head to align faculty goals with school-wide objectives.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of mathematics and computing curricula, including exam preparation and enrichment activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a maths teacher across Years 7–13.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of academic success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to student welfare and holistic education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

Preferred

  • Experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Background in computing or technology integration in teaching.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities and student development.
  • Familiarity with A Level and GCSE curriculum requirements.
