Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Faculty of Mathematics and Computing, ensuring high academic standards and student achievement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning across Years 7–13.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive academic development and innovation.
- Support the professional growth of staff through mentoring and training.
- Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school, promoting a well-rounded education.
- Monitor and report on student progress and performance.
- Work closely with the Deputy Head to align faculty goals with school-wide objectives.
- Ensure the successful delivery of mathematics and computing curricula, including exam preparation and enrichment activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a maths teacher across Years 7–13.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of academic success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to student welfare and holistic education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Preferred
- Experience in a senior leadership role within education.
- Background in computing or technology integration in teaching.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities and student development.
- Familiarity with A Level and GCSE curriculum requirements.
