Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English at KS3, GCSE, and A level.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal development.
- Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the school’s high standards and inclusive culture.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback.
- Engage in professional development and staff training opportunities.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching English at KS3 and GCSE level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, either full or part time.
- Commitment to the school’s mission of academic and pastoral excellence.
- Experience in a co-educational school environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching A level English Language and/or Literature and/or Film Studies and/or Drama.
- Involvement in co-curricular activities and pastoral support.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with inclusive education and diverse student needs.
