The Opportunity:
As a Part-Time Sixth Form Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment and on-boarding of new students into the Sixth Form. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by delivering a high-quality service to prospective pupils, parents, and current students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the admissions process for Sixth Form students from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective pupils, parents, and current year 11 students.
- Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing Team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with external candidates and their families.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting an inclusive and supportive admissions process.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth on-boarding of new students.
- Monitor and report on admissions performance and progress.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of marketing and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a customer service or admissions-related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
- Experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
Preferred
- Previous experience in school admissions or student recruitment.
- Knowledge of Sixth Form admissions processes and procedures.
- Experience with marketing or communications in an educational context.
- Proficiency in using school management systems and software.
- Experience in a job-share or part-time working arrangement.
