The Opportunity:

As a Part-Time Sixth Form Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment and on-boarding of new students into the Sixth Form. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by delivering a high-quality service to prospective pupils, parents, and current students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the admissions process for Sixth Form students from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective pupils, parents, and current year 11 students.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing Team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external candidates and their families.
  • Support the school’s mission by promoting an inclusive and supportive admissions process.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth on-boarding of new students.
  • Monitor and report on admissions performance and progress.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of marketing and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a customer service or admissions-related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is desirable.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in school admissions or student recruitment.
  • Knowledge of Sixth Form admissions processes and procedures.
  • Experience with marketing or communications in an educational context.
  • Proficiency in using school management systems and software.
  • Experience in a job-share or part-time working arrangement.
