The Opportunity:

An Art and Textiles Technician is needed to provide practical support to both the Art and Textiles Departments. This role involves preparing for lessons, maintaining equipment, and assisting with displays, making a meaningful contribution to the school's creative and educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in the preparation of practical lessons and resources.
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of art and textiles equipment and materials.
• Contribute to the setup and management of displays and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with department staff to develop and improve teaching resources.
• Perform clerical duties as required by both the Art and Textiles Departments.
• Work flexibly and effectively within a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Ensure a safe and well-organized environment for students and staff.
• Support the school's ethos and core values in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
