Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Product Design & Textiles across the 11–18 age range.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Support the development of a creative and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Contribute to the leadership and improvement of the department.
- Promote the school’s ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Manage classroom and student behavior effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Product Design & Textiles.
- Strong teaching, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Excellent presentational and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching students across a wide age range.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools in design and textiles education.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Background in a school with a strong spiritual or values-based ethos.
