Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging art curriculum aligned with the American Common Core standards.
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student expression and innovation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and school culture.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic and academic growth.
• Stay current with trends and developments in art education and integrate them into teaching practices.
• Participate in school events and community activities to support student engagement and school spirit.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Support the school’s mission by promoting the values of excellence, innovation, and compassion.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and a recognised Teaching Qualification/License.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred

• Previous successful teaching or lecturing experience.
• Experience of working with DSIB, OFSTED or similar school inspection authority.
• Experience of working in an international school setting.
• Knowledge and understanding of contemporary educational research.
• Knowledge and understanding of current educational developments in the UAE.
• Excellent communication skills with high standards of professionalism in written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to engage and motivate students and colleagues to perform at their best.
