Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons at GCSE and A Level.
• Lead the Media Studies department and support the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme by designing and delivering extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the English team to enhance teaching and learning.
• Promote the school’s values and ethos through effective communication and pastoral support.
• Support student progress through individualized feedback and assessment.
• Stay up to date with developments in Media Studies and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in Media Studies, either in the UK or internationally.
• Experience of teaching GCSE and A Level Media Studies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
