Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a high-quality Art and Design curriculum aligned with international standards.
• Lead and support a team of dedicated Art and Design teachers to ensure consistent delivery of excellence.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full creative potential through engaging and challenging learning experiences.
• Foster a culture of innovation and artistic expression across all year groups.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate Art and Design into broader school initiatives.
• Promote student participation in art exhibitions, competitions, and other creative opportunities.
• Contribute to the pastoral care of students through form tutoring or co-tutoring roles.
• Support the school’s extra-curricular programme by leading or contributing to relevant activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven leadership experience in a school Art and Design department.
• Strong background in teaching Art and Design at all levels.
• Experience in an IB Middle Years or IB Diploma programme is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.

Preferred

• Experience in a high-performing international school environment.
• Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
