The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to join a dynamic and creative team. This role offers the chance to teach across key stages and contribute to a school culture that values innovation and extracurricular engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Art to Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with experience of KS5 being desirable
• Deliver high-quality lessons that are engaging and aligned with the curriculum
• Support students in developing their artistic skills and preparing for GCSE and A-Level qualifications
• Organise and lead Art Club and other extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Art department and school-wide initiatives
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
• Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and evidence-based research
• Contribute to a school culture that values diversity, equality, and inclusion

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Art education
• Ability to teach Key Stages 3 and 4
• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student development and pastoral care

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Key Stage 5
• Background in evidence-based teaching methods
• Experience with extracurricular activities and student leadership
• Familiarity with inclusive education practices
