The Opportunity:
As an Art Technician, you will support the Art department by assisting staff and students in delivering high-quality creative learning experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of art equipment, materials, and resources.
- Support staff and students in the effective use of art technologies and software, including Adobe tools.
- Help organize and manage art exhibitions, displays, and events.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement creative learning activities.
- Maintain a safe and inspiring art environment for students and staff.
- Provide technical support during art lessons and extracurricular activities.
- Keep accurate records of art supplies and inventory.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of art programs and facilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A level or equivalent qualification in Art or Design.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated reliability and willingness to learn.
- Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe software.
- Knowledge of art techniques and materials.
- Experience in a similar technician or support role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including INSET days and additional school events.
