The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to support the delivery of high-quality science education. This role is ideal for someone passionate about science, curriculum development, and health and safety, and who is committed to making a positive impact on students’ learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of science lessons and practical experiments
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed in science laboratories
- Maintain and manage science equipment and resources
- Assist in the development and implementation of science curriculum materials
- Collaborate with teachers to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Provide technical support during science lessons and extracurricular activities
- Monitor and report on the condition and usage of science equipment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of science teaching and learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A passion for science and a commitment to curriculum development
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures in a school setting
- Experience in a school or educational environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Experience in a leadership or mentoring role
