We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Secondary / Head of Boys to lead and inspire a high-achieving team. This role offers the chance to shape the academic and pastoral direction of a growing institution, ensuring student success and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Secondary Phase / Boys Section in line with school vision and improvement priorities
- Ensure outstanding teaching, learning, curriculum delivery, and assessment practices
- Drive student achievement, progress, and effective intervention strategies
- Provide strong pastoral leadership, including behaviour, wellbeing, safeguarding, and attendance
- Line manage staff performance, development, and professional standards
- Contribute to whole-school leadership, accreditation, and school improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree, PGCE/B.Ed., and QTS
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a senior leadership role
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England (KS3–KS5)
- Experience working in an EAL environment
Preferred
- NPQH and accreditation/inspection experience
- Middle East experience
