The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Assistant Principal to lead a key area of the school development plan, working closely with the Principal and Vice Principal. This role offers the chance to shape the future of a dynamic and forward-thinking school, with a focus on curriculum, inclusion, or achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff and support the Principal in delivering strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement initiatives aligned with the school's development plan.
  • Oversee whole school responsibilities, including pastoral care and academic outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and high expectations across the school.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Support staff development and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure progress and impact.
  • Engage with the school community and contribute to the broader vision of the institution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
  • Strong strategic vision and ability to implement change effectively.
  • Demonstrated track record of impact in leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development or inclusion initiatives.
  • Background in school improvement or leadership training.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school inspection processes.
