The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Assistant Principal to lead a key area of the school development plan, working closely with the Principal and Vice Principal. This role offers the chance to shape the future of a dynamic and forward-thinking school, with a focus on curriculum, inclusion, or achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of staff and support the Principal in delivering strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement initiatives aligned with the school's development plan.
- Oversee whole school responsibilities, including pastoral care and academic outcomes.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and high expectations across the school.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Support staff development and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure progress and impact.
- Engage with the school community and contribute to the broader vision of the institution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
- Strong strategic vision and ability to implement change effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of impact in leadership roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or inclusion initiatives.
- Background in school improvement or leadership training.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school inspection processes.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support systems.
