The Opportunity:
We are seeking an ambitious and talented Assistant Principal Mathematics to lead the development of Mathematics across the school and drive up educational standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically lead and develop the Mathematics department across all key stages.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across KS3 to KS5, ensuring exceptional outcomes for all students.
- Support and inspire staff through professional development and leadership.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to improve school-wide standards and practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the school’s key drivers and values.
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with the ability to teach across KS3 to KS5.
- A track record of delivering successful student outcomes and improving teaching standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
Preferred
- Experience in school improvement and leading departmental strategies.
- Familiarity with the context and values of a school with a strong focus on care and community.
- Experience with professional learning and development programmes.
