Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Assist with preparing and organizing the classroom for lessons and displaying students' work
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with individual learning needs
  • Support students with disabilities in movement and participation across the school
  • Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Contribute to the development of students’ independence and confidence
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSE or equivalent Functional Skills in Mathematics and English (Grade Level 2)
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
  • Commitment to the school’s vision and values

Preferred

  • Experience in education or working with young people
  • IT and administrative skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience with supporting students with special educational needs
