The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team as an Administrative Support Assistant - SEN to provide essential support within a growing Inclusion and SEND provision. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised professional who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Inclusion and SEND provision team by providing high-quality administrative assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to student support and provision.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective systems and processes for managing student needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and parents to ensure seamless support.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other relevant software to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support strategies.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and implement new ideas to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed to tight deadlines with a high standard of accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong administration skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to the school's vision and values.
  • A growth mindset and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in an educational setting, preferably within SEN or inclusion provision.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Maltby Learning Trust and its values.
  • Knowledge of working within a multi-academy trust.
  • Experience in providing support for students with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with the context and operations of a secondary school.
