The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic team as an Administrative Support Assistant - SEN to provide essential support within a growing Inclusion and SEND provision. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised professional who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Inclusion and SEND provision team by providing high-quality administrative assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to student support and provision.
- Assist in the development and implementation of effective systems and processes for managing student needs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and parents to ensure seamless support.
- Use Microsoft Office and other relevant software to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support strategies.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and implement new ideas to improve service delivery.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed to tight deadlines with a high standard of accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong administration skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Commitment to the school's vision and values.
- A growth mindset and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably within SEN or inclusion provision.
Preferred
- Experience with the Maltby Learning Trust and its values.
- Knowledge of working within a multi-academy trust.
- Experience in providing support for students with special educational needs.
- Familiarity with the context and operations of a secondary school.
