Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of curriculum and non-curriculum teams.
  • Implement and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of education.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement.
  • Provide leadership and line management to staff within assigned portfolios.
  • Evaluate the impact of strategies and ensure positive outcomes for students.
  • Support the delivery of the school’s vision and mission across all areas of the institution.
  • Work closely with colleagues to foster a collaborative and innovative working environment.
  • Contribute to the ongoing professional development of staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to raising standards and student achievement.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in a school setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading curriculum development or improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with multi-academy trust structures and operations.
  • Experience with school improvement and Ofsted inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of current educational policies and best practices.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student support.
