The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Manager, you will play a key role in supporting students through the school’s Reflection spaces, ensuring that all pupils receive the support they need to succeed. This is a vital position that directly impacts student behavior, inclusion, and engagement within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the Reflection spaces to ensure they meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Implement strategies to reduce fixed and permanent exclusions while promoting positive behavior and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with the school’s Rewards and Consequences Policy in all interactions and activities.
  • Liaise with pastoral staff to monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance and interventions.
  • Develop and deliver mentoring programs to support student behavior and personal development.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure that all reasonable adjustments are made to support student learning and inclusion.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and positive engagement across the school.
  • Support the delivery of an appropriate curriculum for all students, including those with additional needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Experience in behavior management and inclusion strategies.
  • Commitment to promoting student welfare and positive behavior.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care or similar roles within a school environment.
  • Knowledge of inclusion policies and strategies.
  • Experience with mentoring or supporting students with additional needs.
  • Familiarity with educational frameworks and student support systems.
