Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities that enhance student engagement with Science.

  • Stay up to date with developments in Biology and Science education to ensure teaching remains current and relevant.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Biology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Biology at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic achievement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a grammar school or selective school setting.
  • Previous experience with exam preparation and assessment.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Familiarity with Science education initiatives and curriculum development.
