The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ambitious and visionary Principal to lead an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ primary academy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a school that has long been a pillar of its community, while benefiting from the support of a successful multi-academy trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff to maintain and enhance the school’s ‘Outstanding’ standards.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for the school that ensures every child achieves their full potential.
  • Foster a positive, vibrant culture that promotes high expectations and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with the local community, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with other academies within the trust to share best practices and drive innovation.
  • Ensure the school’s curriculum and teaching methods remain innovative and effective, including the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
  • Support and develop staff through professional learning and leadership opportunities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience at the primary level, with a successful track record in school improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • A clear vision for school development and the ability to implement it effectively.
  • Experience in managing a school with a strong community focus and high academic standards.
  • Commitment to ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential, regardless of background.

Preferred

  • Experience within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
  • A track record of leading successful Ofsted inspections.
  • Experience in developing and leading staff professional development programs.
  • Strong leadership in fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
