Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver practical work across the Biology curriculum.
• Oversee pupil research projects and ensure alignment with educational objectives.

• Manage and line manage laboratory technicians within the team.
• Ensure compliance with all legislative and health and safety requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices.
• Maintain and manage laboratory equipment and resources effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a laboratory environment with knowledge of biology equipment and procedures.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of laboratory technicians.
• Keen eye for detail and sound judgment.
