The Opportunity:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic department. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contribute to the development of the Science curriculum. The ideal candidate will be motivated to inspire students and support the school’s mission of preparing pupils for successful futures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Science curriculum
- Support the wider department through collaboration and shared planning
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
- Assist with extracurricular activities related to Science
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a Science department
- Familiarity with Key Stage 5 Science teaching
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or technology in the classroom
- Strong record of student engagement and achievement
