The Opportunity:
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide essential 1st and 2nd line support for Servers, Network, Computing, and AV systems. You will work closely with the Data and Project Team to deliver bespoke application support and ensure project tasks are completed on time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for Servers, Network, Computing, and AV systems.
- Collaborate with the Data and Project Team to deliver bespoke application support.
- Ensure timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain and update IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders to understand and resolve technical needs.
- Document all support activities and system changes for future reference.
- Stay up to date with emerging IT trends and technologies to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Full UK driving license (required for travel between schools).
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of Servers, Network, Computing, and AV systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with bespoke application support.
- Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
- Knowledge of IT systems used in schools or educational institutions.
- Experience working within a multi-school foundation or organization.
