The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business and Economics Teacher to join a thriving department. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Business and Economics to students of all abilities.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results and strong progress.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly to inform teaching and learning.
- Stay up to date with developments in the Business and Economics curriculum and industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Business and Economics education.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons and achieve high student attainment.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and character development.
- Experience in working within a team and contributing to departmental goals.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Economics A Level.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources.
- Experience in school trips or international educational experiences.
