The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business and Economics Teacher to join a thriving department. The position may also include the opportunity to teach Economics A Level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Business and Economics to students of all abilities.
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic results and strong progress.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly to inform teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Business and Economics curriculum and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Business and Economics education.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons and achieve high student attainment.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and character development.
  • Experience in working within a team and contributing to departmental goals.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Economics A Level.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources.
  • Experience in school trips or international educational experiences.
