The Opportunity:

As a Business and Finance Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of study programmes, including T Levels, BTECs, and A Levels. You will play a key role in preparing students for future success in business and finance, supported by strong industry connections and a commitment to excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Business and Finance qualifications, including T Level Finance, T Level Accounting, BTEC Level 2 and 3, and A Level.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that meet the needs of all learners and promote academic progress.
  • Set high expectations for students and support them in achieving outstanding results.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching resources.
  • Engage students in real-life employer challenge projects and industry-led learning opportunities.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students to ensure their overall development and well-being.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Finance.
  • Experience in teaching Business and Finance qualifications at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Strong classroom management and delivery skills.
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with T Level qualifications and employer challenge projects.
  • Background in working with university and industry partners.
  • Experience in delivering CPD sessions or leading professional development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching and learning approaches.
