The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Business Teacher to join our school in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning and development. The role involves teaching Business and Economics to a large and motivated Sixth Form cohort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics to students across key stages.
  • Use innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Support the continued development of the Business department and its curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students, contributing to their overall well-being and success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching standards.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business and Economics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on student achievement and well-being.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
  • Experience in a specialist school or a school with a strong extracurricular programme.
