Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Business and Economics lessons to students at both GCSE and A Level.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate new technologies into teaching.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and review of the curriculum.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in extra-curricular activities related to Business and Economics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
- Experience teaching Business and Economics at both GCSE and A Level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with BTEC Business qualifications.
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Experience in a school that provides support to other schools.
- Previous experience in a National Support School or similar setting.
