- Teach English at KS3 and KS4, including GCSE course design, delivery, and assessment
- Deliver effective English assessment strategies at KS3

- Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental goals and student success
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Support student aspirations and personal development
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching English at KS3 and KS4
- Proven experience in GCSE course design, delivery, and assessment
- Strong understanding of English assessment at KS3
- Demonstrated ability to raise attainment in a classroom environment
- Commitment to high standards of academic achievement and student behaviour
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives
- Background in strategies for raising student aspirations and outcomes
- Experience in a high-performing school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
