The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspiring Business & Economics Teacher to join our growing team. This role offers the chance to teach students aged 11-18 in a dynamic online environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using technology to engage students and support their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Business & Economics lessons to students aged 11-18, both part-time and full-time.
• Create and curate engaging online learning content that supports student progress.
• Use innovative teaching approaches to maximize the potential of the online environment.
• Support students with special educational needs and mental health challenges in a virtual classroom.
• Engage with students from diverse backgrounds and promote inclusive learning.
• Apply assessment strategies that enhance learning and provide meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
• Participate in mentoring and pastoral activities to support student well-being and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher status.
• Experience teaching the secondary age range.
• Experience teaching groups of students.
• Strong diagnostic ability and a passion for guiding student learning.
• Understanding of assessment requirements and principles of assessment for learning.
• Ability to engage students from varied backgrounds.
• Belief in the value of learning from home and flipped learning.
• Enthusiasm for using technology in education.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Business & Economics at GCSE and A level.
• Knowledge of the Edexcel International GCSE specification and A-level CIE.
• Proven experience in making innovative use of technology for online teaching.
• Experience creating highly engaging learning content for online delivery.
